Kaeser's Air Demand Analysis uses highly accurate sensors and monitoring devices to identify waste, leaks and artificial demand cause by operating at unneccessarily high pressures.

Available for small, medium or large systems, an ADA monitors and charts air flow, power consumption, and system pressures during normal operating hours over a period of 10 days without interrupting daily plant operations.

To obtain an accurate picture of system dynamics, the ADA involves a variety of instruments and sensors installed at strategic locations along the system. Measurement devices may include:
  • Pressure sensors to measure pressure throughout the system
  • Kilowatt meters to measure actual power consumption of compressor equipment
  • Flowmeters to measure compressor flow and system demand
  • Opto-couplers to monitor digital signals such as motor operation and compressor load
Collected data is fed into the unique Kaeser Energy Saving System (KESS) software to simulate power requirements of different system scenarios. Experts compare various scenarios to identify the solutions that will achieve the greatest efficiency.
