Optimized Efficiency
With Kaeser's one-to-one drive, the airend is directly connected to the motor via a maintenance-free coupling that eliminates transmission losses. Kaeser’s direct drive screw compressors deliver outstanding performance and increase energy savings. Kaeser uses oversized airends specifically selected to produce the required output in flow and pressure. Compared to compressors using small, high-speed, gear-driven airends, the one-to-one drive provides significant savings.

Performance Verification Program
Models between 50-200 hp participate in the Compressed Air and Gas Institute's Performance Verification Program. Kaeser's certified compressor performance claims are verified by an independent, third party laboratory offering end-users assurance that rated capacities, electrical input power, and especially our specific package performance claims are accurate and un-altered.

The energy-saving Sigma Profile
Kaeser uses a number of newly designed airends. Manufactured according to strict quality standards and supported by precision-aligned roller bearings, these airends guarantee long operational life and outstanding reliability.

Large airend, lower speed
Larger airends turning at lower speeds are more efficient - producing more air for the same power than small, high-speed airends. Low speeds also mean less wear and reduced maintenance costs.

Quiet and efficient radial fan
The powerful radial fan is extremely quiet due to its slow peripheral speed. It consumes up to 50 percent less power than a comparable axial fan. The radial fan's high residual thrust is perfect for ducting and heat recovery without the need for auxiliary fans.

Sigma Control
The compressor control system features an industrial-based PC with update capabilities, Intel® microprocessor, and real-time operating system. Five different control configurations are available to precisely match compressor performance to air demand. System can display status in any one of 30 selectable languages.
